The Hawthornes - a family-run Bed and Breakfast

We move with the seasons; early spring will see the first crop of forced rhubarb on the table, elderflowers in June to turn into delicious elderflower cordial. By July we have our own early potatoes, lettuce, spinach. The lavender to put in our own home-made scones, is also abundant.

As the seasons change, we try to offer a changing menu. Autumn sees our hedgerows bursting with brambles and sloes. Our own apple, pear, plums, peach (yes, peach,we had 50 from it last year!) and cherry trees provide ample crops for our home-made jams and chutneys.
