The Hawthornes - a family-run Bed and Breakfast

 

We keep our own free-range hens that provide us with eggs for breakfast, to compliment our home-made breads and preserves.

A choice of breakfast menu is available every day; homegrown rhubarb stewed with apricots and ginger, natural yogurt, followed by a Full Yorkshire breakfast of bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding and eggs (cooked in 4 different ways on our Aga!)

If you are still hungry, there is toasted homemade bread with home made jams and marmalade, fresh tea and coffee.Smoked haddock and kippers are delivered weekly from Whitby and we also buy locally-made sausages and black puddings.
